HPE III Basic – Shore Hardness Tester

The Bareiss HPE III Basic is a portable digital hardness tester designed to measure the hardness of rubber, elastomers, plastics, foams and composite materials. It is available for different Shore scales and other hardness methods, depending on the selected configuration.

Its handle with an integrated pressure system helps position the instrument vertically and apply the correct force, reducing operator influence. The illuminated display shows the results and allows storage of up to 300 measurements.

The instrument also records sample and ambient temperature, humidity, date and time. Results can be transferred via USB for evaluation and traceability.
