RSX Rheometer for Soft Solids

The Brookfield RSX SST rheometer for soft solids characterizes creep behavior, yield stress, and viscosity profiles in soft solids, pastes, slurries, and particulate materials.

The instrument operates under controlled shear stress or controlled shear rate. It features a high-torque 200 mNm motor and an automatic sample search and immersion system that positions the spindle at the proper height for fast, repeatable results.

It supports a range of vane spindles, features automatic spindle recognition via barcode, and complies with ASTM C474-15. It is suitable for applications in food and beverages, chemicals, adhesives, paints, coatings, gypsum, and biomaterials.
